I've studied graphics and illustration ever since I was a kid, and I've had a camera in my hand ever since college - I'm not saying how long ago that was, but let's just say mini-disc players were still a thing back then. I live in a wee Edwardian house in north London with my other half Pete, amongst an assortment of photography props, old cameras, succulents and Lottie the cat. She's excellent at judging my work but not so great at making the tea.

I'm partial to a bit of cheese music, this being my favourite playlist ever. I enjoy travelling and I'm always on the lookout for a new adventure! Other things that make me do a happy Carlton dance are 80's toys, Lush products, big crystals, a massive mug of chai tea and the 90's. My current obsession is playing old Megadrive games, and I'm basically a human library of Friends references and Spaced quotes.

For me, photographing weddings is the best job ever - family, friends and a right old knees up, what could be more fun?! I am not a traditional wedding photographer - I shoot in a fun documentary style for laid back couples who hate the idea of awkward posing and endless group photos with cousins they've only met once. I blend in with guests and capture the day as it goes, from love, laughter and tears to mad faces and air guitars, and pretty much everything in between.

"Sarah is fantastic at blending in as a wedding guest and producing the most beautiful wedding photos. We would recommend her to everyone we know - absolute star!"

As a documentary photographer, I shoot your wedding exactly as it is. It's the little lost moments tangled up with the big ones and the odd few hilarious bits that make your wedding story unique and true to you both. I love it when couples tell me how happy they were to see a picture of a moment or a detail they'd forgotten about from the day - that's exactly what I'm here for.

I shoot in an unobtrusive manner - in fact many of my couples have complimented me on my ability to blend in with guests, I call it "mingle-shooting". I happily chat to anyone and I get a lot of comments on my awesome bum bag!

As a couple, you want some time to yourselves on the day, and you're happy to invest that time to bask in that "wow, we're finally married, what?!" feeling. Couples sessions are one of my favourite parts of a wedding day, and while I won't keep you from your loved ones too long, I will aim to give you creative, laid back and fun images of you together that you can blow up big on your wall and look back on over a lifetime.

If I sound like your kind of wedding photographer, please drop me a line, I'd love to hear about you and your big day.

"On the day Sarah was wonderful! She was unobtrusive on little moments and at the same time great fun to have our couple's session with."
