Natural wedding photography at Coombe Abbey – Caroline & Tom
Natural wedding photography at St Osburgs Church and Coombe Abbey hotel – Caroline and Tom
Caroline and Tom are such a down to earth and fun couple! They are friends of another bride of mine, and actually got married the week after Rebecca did – if you check out her wedding you’ll catch them having a bash at giant connect 4! They had a beautiful ceremony in St Osburgs Church where Caroline’s parents had been married, before heading off to the fabulous Coombe Abbey, a beautiful old hotel originally founded as an abbey in the 12th century. I have such a thing for old buildings, really. I feel like I have to look at and touch everything! Coombe Abbey is no exception, it is full of ornate corridors, nooks and crannies and even few knights were kicking about. Caroline and Tom spent their day chatting with family and friends, some who have flown in from overseas, whilst getting some fun bridal party portraits thrown in! I stole them away for two separate couples shoots – sometimes I encourage couples to split their session in two if time is short and there is time in the evening. It means they can relax more and spend time with friends, and also increases the likelihood of catching that gorgeous golden hour I love so much. Despite a hairy moment with some low flying geese, we caught some gorgeous shots in the hotel grounds before heading back indoors for party time.
Thank you Caroline and Tom for having me capture your natural wedding photography at Coombe Abbey – it was an absolute pleasure to shoot two such wonderful people!
