Canon Lane Chichester wedding – Abby & Kevin’s fun relaxed wedding
Canon Lane Chichester wedding – Abby and Kevin had a really lovely fun and relaxed wedding over three locations in Chichester. I started off with Abby and her bridesmaids getting ready at 4 Canon Lane, owned by Chichester cathedral, which she and Kevin returned to for their evening reception for cake, finger tree painting and dancing. Their ceremony was at St. Richards Church in Swindon, after which the wedding party all headed over to the medieval Vicar’s Hall at Chichester cathedral for dinner and speeches.
I really love Chichester cathedral and it’s surrounding area. This was my third wedding here, and I never tire of the lovely surroundings! It’s got everything from the beautiful bishops’s gardens, to medieval rooms, to the very funky and atmospheric cloisters surrounding the Cathedral. There’s so many lovely locations right within a two minute walk of each other, so every time I’ve shot here I have encouraged my couples to split their couples session over a few locations and over different portions of the day. Abby and Kevin happily took my advice, so we got to hang out in the lovely floral gardens before dinner, and then headed to the cloisters later in the afternoon, when they almost always seem to have beautiful light spilling out of them. If you’re lucky to have golden hour here, those arches can look truly epic! I also personally LOVE the cloisters because it’s always full of passers by complimenting the newlyweds and wishing them good luck!
Thanks to Abby and Kevin for having me for their fun Canon Lane Chichester wedding, you guys laugh a LOT!
