Prince Albert Camden wedding – Rachel and Kier’s super fun London pub wedding.
I have shot loooooads of pub weddings in my time – I bloody love a London pub wedding! (and if you’re thinking of having one, check out my London pub wedding page). So when I found out the Prince Albert in Camden was licensed to hold ceremonies as well, I got super excited for Rachel and Kier’s wedding. I knew from my first meeting with them they just wanted a massive laid back and fun day – just family and friends hanging out in a funky boozer, basically!
The Prince Albert is in a great location in Camden too – right by the canal, and down the road from the Camden Road bridge – so equal opportunities for both a bit of greenery and funky urban style in pictures. And not forgetting the front of the pub itself, it basically looks like it’s been built from the interior bricks of the Ministry of Magic.
I met with Kier just ahead of the ceremony in the pub, I love how his suit matched the pub colours! The ceremony itself was super laid back, and the rest of the day was spent with a lot of booze and pub grub! I love pub weddings because I feel like guests relax well in a pub setting, and since Rachel and Kier hired out the entire Prince Albert Camden pub for their wedding, guests could roam freely upstairs and downstairs. Later that evening their DJ span out some epic tunes – I can’t quite believe it’s taken me six years as a wedding photographer to finally hear Insomnia by Faithless on the dance floor!
If you’re looking for an epic all in one pub wedding venue – the Prince Albert is it. Massive thanks to Rachel and Kier for having me shoot their awesome Prince Albert Camden wedding!
