how you doin’?
You want to check I’m a great fit for your wedding, right? Here’s some wee titbits about me:
I live in north London with my husband and Lottie the cat, Destroyer of Carpets – she gets Instagrammed a lot. She’s excellent at judging my work but never makes me a cuppa when I ask.
If it couldn’t BE any more obvious by this picture – I’m a massive Friends fan, I even slipped some wise words from Mr Joey Tribbiani into my wedding day speech. The Office comes a very close second though, Angela Martin is my height twin. I’m a proud Hufflepuff and love 00’s punk music. In my spare time, I’m either garden pottering, collecting funky crystals, wallowing in LUSH bath bombs or drinking weird flavoured tea. I LOVE cats – Pallas’ cat being my favourite because it looks like Dumbledore and a cat smooshed together (seriously, google it).
Photographing weddings is the best job ever – family, friends and a right old knees up, what could be more fun?! My love of people is what inspired me to become a wedding photographer. I’m not a traditional one either, I shoot fun doctmentary style (with a touch of romance) for laid back couples who hate awkward posing and endless group photos with random cousins they’ve only met once. I blend in with guests and capture the day as it is, from love, laughter and tears to mad faces and air guitars, and pretty much everything in between. Do I sound like your cup of chai? Let’s chat!

“SARAH IS FANTASTIC AT BLENDING IN AS A WEDDING GUEST AND PRODUCING THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WEDDING PHOTOS. WE WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO EVERYONE WE KNOW – ABSOLUTE STAR!”
My couples value having a good time, and the last thing they want is a photographer who bosses them about, takes over their wedding day and leaves guests standing about for hours on end. Think of me as a good mate with a camera!
As a documentary photographer, I shoot your wedding exactly as it is. It’s the little lost moments tangled up with the big ones and the odd few hilarious bits that make your wedding story unique and true to you both. I love it when couples tell me how happy they were to see a picture of a moment or a detail they’d forgotten about from the day – that’s exactly what I’m here for.
I shoot in an unobtrusive manner – many of my couples have complimented me on my ability to blend in with guests, and move about unnoticed. It’s one of the rare few times being five foot tall comes in handy.
However I don’t just turn up at your wedding, shoot and leave – your wedding is much more than that!
I used to be an Office Manager and Monica Gellar is my spirit animal, so I’m all about organisation. I work hard to help couples build a realistic timetable for wedding photography. It means less stress, less faffing about, and way more party!
Your wedding is all about having a wonderful time with your favourite people. You don’t care about having all the “things” or formalities – you just want to eat, drink and be merry with your best friend and large it up with your mates.
Couples sessions are one of my favourite parts of a wedding day, and while I won’t keep you from your loved ones too long, I will aim to give you laid back and fun images with a little hint of romance, I’m a bit soppy like that. Photos you’ll want to blow up massive on your wall to show off to everyone!
If I sound like your kind of wedding photographer, please drop me a line, I’d love to hear about all you and your big day!
All you need is love.
