Bignor Park wedding photography – Sarah and Richard’s beautiful outdoor pastel floral wedding.
I had spent most of last year excited for Sarah and Richard’s wedding because they come from a close knit family and I have already shot three weddings in Richard’s family – I feel like I am the official DeNiese photographer! So I knew it was going to be great fun to see the families again and my past brides, now with their babies. It’s a wonderful feeling to recognise so many people at a wedding! Sarah had her heart set on an outdoor wedding, and although it was drizzling that morning, it stopped the moment she was due to walk down the aisle, and stayed dry for the rest of the day. They had a simple registrar ceremony followed by a handfasing blessing by Richard’s uncle. The sun even came back out for a golden hour couples session that evening, and with the remaining dry weather, Sarah and Rich were able to have a lovely open air buffet dinner, complete with ice cream van, and have their first dance in Bigor Park’s lovely courtyard, lit up with fairy lights. Sarah even surprised Rich by singing his favourite Beatles song.
Be sure to check out their speeches – Sarah’s step Dad started singing Lean on Me, and eventually more and more guests and bridal party joined in, until everyone was singing – it was my favourite moment of the entire day! A huge thank you goes to Sarah, Rich and both their families for having me for their Bignor Park wedding photography!
