Countryside engagement photography – Colin & Steph

Engagements

Countryside engagement photography – I spent a lovely couple of hours with Colin and Steph up in Loughborough for their pre-wedding shoot. Since their wedding was in winter, it was nice to able to give them some summery images as well – not that the sun came out that day! Still, we had plenty of foliage and a lovely reservoir almost entirely to ourselves to wander round. Since I had previously only met Colin and Steph over Skype, it was a great excuse to meet in person and chat through their wedding day plans, well ahead of time.

I have great fun wandering the countryside with these two, usually I set up a little word association game to set people at ease and to take their minds off being photographed. However Colin and Steph whizzed through the game so fast that we ended up playing a new Harry Potter version, where I failed spectacularly in being able to think of anyone in the Potterverse beginning with ‘J’. Still can’t believe I had such a mind blank for such an obvious name (think Harry’s Dad)!
