A spring bride – Moody Corsetry custom wedding dress shoot

Personal, Weddings

Earlier on in April I had the pleasure of shooting a custom made wedding dress for designer Moody Corsetry. The theme was spring bride, and Beth created a beautiful floral corset and detachable skirt. I love the fact that the corset can be worn on it’s own as well –  so really it’s two pieces in one, and the corset itself could be worn for a post wedding boudoir shoot as you can see at the end of the blog post (or the whole dress as a fabulous post wedding shoot!).

We found a gorgeous wee patch of bluebells in the springtime sun, and Sarah at Love at First Sight Styling kindly created one of her bespoke wedding bouquets for us. Alivya Free was our beautiful model – she is also a very talented headpiece designer and so created this handmade floral wedding headpiece for the shoot. You can check out her headpieces here.

If you’re thinking of having a custom wedding dress made, I would highly recommend Beth at Moody Corsetry, as you will have something completely one of a kind, designed from scratch and specially created to fit your own unique measurements. I reckon that makes an amazing family heirloom too!
