Caswell House wedding photography – an elegant countryside wedding in the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire.
Rebecca and Adrian had a simple and elegant countryside wedding at the beautiful old stone barn at Caswell house. I had previously shot the wedding of Becky’s sister Hannah a couple of years ago, so it was wonderful to see all her family again – and lovely to see they all remembered me! And this time round Hannah now had her baby boy!
Rebecca and Adrian were married in the big barn with a reading from her mother, before heading off with guests for lawn games and drinks. Adrian had decorated part of the venue with pictures of them as a couple over the years, as a surprise for Rebecca. After bubble confetti we nipped into the lovely private gardens at Caswell House for the most relaxed couple’s session I’ve ever had – these two are just so in love they seem to be able to pull out all the romantic poses hands down!
Then it was off for dinner and speeches – Rebecca’s Dad had previously sung his own song during his speech at Hannah’s wedding, so we were all waiting for one this time round and he didn’t disappoint! The best man’s speech also included a mock up of his own vision of whet their baby might look like (complete with crazy ginger hair) and a nod to Top Gun as the reason the couple met in the first place. I just love the random facts that pop out during the speeches!
I whisked Rebecca and Adrian back outside in the gardens of Caswell house for one more set of portraits with my flash and their funky heart umbrella before leaving everyone on the dance floor – Rebecca’s Grandad was cutting some serious shapes as I left.
Thank you so much to Rebecca and Adrian for having me for their Caswell house wedding photography and Rebecca’s family for being so welcoming on the day!
