Gaynes park relaxed rustic wedding – Rose and Lee
Gaynes park relaxed rustic wedding – Rose and Lee had a wonderful laid back summer wedding at Gaynes Park, a converted set of barns and farm houses in a country estate in Epping.
They are a really chilled out couple – each time I’ve met them they’ve been so laid back and easy to chat to. When we went for their engagement shoot I am sure we spent more time chatting over dinner than shooting! With their Gaynes Park relaxed rustic wedding, the emphasis was on hanging out and enjoying time with family and friends. Rose and her bridesmaids started off the day getting ready in the Apple Loft, and she wore a gorgeous Jenny Packham dress and Laboutin sandals – perfect for not only the hot weather but a total foot fatigue saver!
They were married in the light and airy orangery and walked out as a married couple to “Friday I’m in Love” by The Cure – very apt as they were married on a sunny Friday in July. They had an awesome magician to entertain guests – it was great to capture him bamboozling Rose! Guests relaxed with drinks, chatting and a hint of magic before heading to the main barn for dinner which was beautifully decorated by Mediterranean Occasions.
Speeches are always a favourite segment of mine at weddings – almost always a hilarious fact emerges about one of the couple. Lee’s brother’s speech was no exception – embarrassing childhood photos coupled up with him dressing up as the Swedish doctor Lee used to pretend to be as a kid. The whole room, myself included, was in stitches!
After dinner I nipped off with the bridesmaids and groomsmen for some portraits before taking Rose and Lee for their couples portraits round the walled garden. Then there was dancing, pizza making and general merriment long into the night. Rose and Lee’s friends were all so lovely that I was sad to leave!
Here the boys did an impromptu school photo!
Big thank you to Rose and Lee for having me for their Gaynes Park relaxed rustic wedding photography!
