Belsize Park wedding photography at The George – Sarah & Pete’s floral spring wedding
Sarah and Pete were married in Camden one lovely spring day in May. Sarah is a florist and also works in wedding styling at her own company Love At First Sight Styling, so I knew her wedding would be a delight to photograph with pretty details everywhere I looked! Sarah did everything herself, with a blue and white colour scheme and botanical inspired floristry, and all handmade and designed details – from the invitations to the floral wall polaroid background, table settings, timetable, desserts and of course, all the beautiful table flowers and bouquets, including a giant urn full of foliage. Sarah’s sister was equally as talented, having made their wedding cake herself. I had a blast shooting all the little details in their reception venue The George pub in Belsize Park.
Sarah and Pete were married in Camden town hall with close friends and family, some having travelled from Sarah’s home country, Australia. Everyone was so happy and excited for the couple the whole day long, it was lovely to see! After the ceremony we nipped out with the bridal party for a few pictures in Camden, before heading back to The George pub for drinks, dinner, speeches (including a hilarious rap from Pete), pub quiz with guests and evening dancing. I have never seen someone rave dancing to the Countdown theme before, but one guest managed it, and it was amazing.
Sarah and Pete are a super fun and laid back couple, and it was obvious to see how proud Pete was of all Sarah’s hard work. The entire day was so much fun to photograph, and I can’t thank them enough for having me there! I love shooting London pub weddings, so if you want to see more, click here!
