Twickenham wedding photography – Kerri, Jo, and their whippet doggo Woody!
Jo and Kerri made sure their beloved doggo was well and truly included in their wedding day – Woody was dog of honour at their ceremony, he and his doggy pals were the theme of the wedding breakfast tables, and his likeness graced all the wedding stationary. You’d think he’d have been chuffed with all this inclusion, yet when the register asked if anyone objected to Kerri and Jo marrying, he decided that was the perfect time to let one big lone bark! Luckily doggo barks don’t count, and so he gave Kerri, Jo and their guests a very memorable wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony at York House in Richmond, we took Woody on a stroll of the house grounds down by the Thames for some couple photos, catching the last of the spring blossom, on a very warm day. Kerri and Jo had their wedding reception at the Turk’s Head pub in Twickenham, and there was lots of fun to be had with a wedding dessert table bake-off (with one guest even making a massive wagon wheel!) plus raffle and prizes. They wanted a very laid back and informal pub reception, and everyone got to enjoy the sun and relax with a few drinks and crisps before enjoying pub grub dinner, speeches and dancing. And many, many cakes.
I had an absolute belter of a day, it was loads of fun and relaxed – a pub is always a perfect setting for a chilled out wedding I think, and a pub wedding is fast becoming a speciality of mine! So if you are thinking of having a pub wedding, I highly recommend checking out this page for some useful info.
And of course, a huge thanks to Jo, Kerri, Woody, their families and friends, for including me in such a wonderful day, and choosing me for their Twickenham wedding photography!
