Wandsworth pub wedding – Lee and Bojan’s rainy but fun London pub wedding!
It rained SO MUCH on this day! Literally one of those days where the rain is a non-stop constant, it doesn’t even move. Not that Lee and Bojan let it bother them! Although we had originally planned to meet ahead of their wedding ceremony for their couples session in a park, the weather had other ideas, so instead I met them at The King’s Arms on Wandsworth High St. They had booked a private room at the pub for drinks post ceremony, so by utilising doorways, natural light and the funky furniture, I was still able to give them a beautiful couple’s session together. And of course, having your couple’s session ahead of ceremony means you have MORE time for drinks and hanging out with family and friends afterwards.
So in fact this blog post is a little backwards, since I’ve posted their ceremony at Wandsworth town hall ahead of their couple’s session, however there’s good reason for it – you just HAVE to see them dancing down the aisle to greet the registrar ahead of their ceremony! I have never seen a registrar so tickled in my life, she absolutely loved it (song was You Make My Dreams by Daryl Hall & John Oates, if you’re wondering) and even requested a dance back down the aisle!
Lee and Bojan were so fun and laid back for the few hours I was with them – they never let they rain bother them, and were incredibly flexible when I suggested an alternate rain plan for them. I’m honoured that I got to shoot their Wandsworth pub wedding as one of their four weddings around the world!
